3 Easy DIY Dog Treats

Have you always wanted to make treats for your pup but thought it would be too difficult? Now is the time with these easy recipes! Your pup will thank you! They will be pup-lickin’ good!

No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls! 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 Cup Plain Organic Yogurt
1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
3 Cups Rolled Oats
HOW TO MAKE:
1. Mix the yogurt and peanut butter until it forms a paste
2. Add the oats half a cup at a time to make sure they are fully coated with no dry spots; this will be a thick mixture
3. Spoon out small portions and roll into little balls. It can make up to 30 treats
4. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper
5. Put them in the fridge for one hour to chill, then they are ready to serve. 

Frozen Apple Pup-sicles!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
2 Apples
1 Cup Plain Organic Yogurt
1 Splash of water
Ice Cube Tray or Popsicle tray
HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Cut apples into small pieces for blending, minus the core and seeds
  2. Put apples, cup of yogurt, and a splash of water in a blender
  3. Blend, pour in tray, freeze, and serve!

Cheese Biscuits! (Baking required)

 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 cup gluten-free baking mix
1 cup finely shredded cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Splash of water as needed
HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F
  2. Mix egg in a bowl, then add coconut oil, then cheese, and, finally, baking mix, a little at a time. Make sure to mix well
  3. Add a little water until the mix holds together
  4. Roll out dough on wax paper. You can make the treats as thick of thin as you like
  5. Cut the dough into squares or use a cookie cutter in a cute shape
  6. Put each cookie onto a oiled cookie sheet 
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until the bottoms start to brown
  8. Finally, take them out of the oven and put each one on a wire rack to cool
