As some of you know, the first full week of June is Pet Appreciation week but why not make it Pet Appreciation Month?! Life gets busy nowadays and we usually don’t give enough attention to our pets or we missed Pet Appreciation week. Either way, here are some ways to show a little extra appreciation for your pet, whether you missed the first week of June or not!
Get a New Toy
Your pups usually have the same toys for a while if they are not super chewers! Show them some appreciation with a new toy or bone. Then you can also clean the older ones.
Bake Some Treats
Of course your pets cannot get enough treats! What is better way of showing your appreciation than making them yourself! See our previous blogs for 3 DIY treat recipes.
Go on an Adventure
Take your pet hiking, biking, or even just a car ride (preferably with the windows down!). Being in the fresh air, running around, or riding in the Ruffit Dog Carrier while biking makes a difference. Take a break from the house!
Snuggle up and have some one-on-one time together. Grab some healthy sharable snacks, like carrots or blueberries, and watch a movie. Or play with one of those new toys together!
Showing appreciation for your pet doesn’t always have to be toys, treats, and adventure; it can be making sure your pet is healthy and up-to-date on their vaccines. A healthy pup is a happy pup!
Here are just a few ways to show appreciation for your pets! Even though they know that you appreciation them and love them no matter what you do!
Have a paw-some week!
